Unverified noteNotes

Currencies, materials and content, and what each one is for

Updated
14 Oct 2026
Based on
Korean guides from Inven and Gametoc, metabot’s global client tables and a few screens seen in my client

This is one of my working notes, not a notebook entry. I have not verified it in the global client: it is what I follow while I play, taken from the sources below. What I confirm moves to the notebook.

Currencies

Currency What it’s for Where it comes from
Kina Almost everything: upgrading gear, the Market, shops. There’s bound Kina, which can’t be traded, and free Kina Quests, monsters, expeditions, Odyle cubes
Quna Cash shop and passes Real money
Odyle Energy Claiming the reward at the end of an expedition Recharges on its own; membership raises the cap
Abyss Points Stigma shards, consumables PvP and Abyss requests; weekly cap
Centuryroot Token Shugo Festival shop Shugo Festival
Phantasmal Fragment Nightmare shop: wings, appearances, Soul Codex Nightmare, solo bosses
Oath Coin Season shop Season quests and ranks
Daeva Pass Shop Coin Pass shop The pass
Arena Token and Legion Coin Arena and legion shops Arena and legion

What you can buy with Quna is in the cash shop note.

Materials: each one feeds a system

Material System Main source
Enhance Stone Raising the gear’s “+”; it’s the bottleneck Quests, sealed dungeons, pass
Amplify Stone Extra levels after the max + Crafted from fragments and Enhance Stones
Wisdom Stone Extra skill points Monolith, Nightmare and Shugo shops
Stigma Shard Leveling stigmas Abyss shop
Daevanion Crystal Activating Daevanion nodes Regional quests, sealed dungeons
Arcana cards Raise skills above 10 Transcendence
Manastone Extra stats on weapons and armor Conquest expeditions
Soul Codex Soul Binding: raises the value of gear lines Conquest, Nightmare shop
Transfer Stone Moving a piece’s progress to a better one Fragments; save the orange ones
Soul Crystal Pet boards Achievements, pass, Wind Breeze shop

Wings and appearances give permanent stats just for owning them.

Amplification: past the max +

A gold (Unique) piece goes up with Enhance Stones to +15. According to metabot, it always succeeds up to +10 and can fail from there on. At +15 it takes no more Enhance Stones: the next step is to amplify it with Amplify Stone (Unique). Blue pieces stop at +10 and cannot be amplified: that one I saw in my own game.

How many extra levels. They depend on the piece’s item level. According to metabot’s calculator:

Item level of the piece Extra levels Chance of each step Added per failure
54 1 66% +5%
70 3 66%, 50%, 33% +5, +4 and +3%
86 5 66%, 50%, 33%, 25%, 20% +5, +4, +3, +2 and +1%

What it costs. The first step takes 600,000 Kina and 6 Amplify Stone (Unique). Metabot does not give the cost of the later steps.

Where the stones come from. Each Amplify Stone (Unique) is made in Substance Morph from 4 Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique) and 2,500 Enhance Stones, according to wikily’s recipe table. The unbound stone can also be bought on the Market.

The maths with Ascension Trial. My Normal run on 14 October gave 8 fragments and 1,500 Enhance Stones. Those 8 fragments make 2 stones, and converting them costs 5,000 Enhance Stones: more than the run gives. The first step on a single piece takes 24 fragments, 15,000 Enhance Stones and 600,000 Kina. The three weekly attempts give 24 to 27 fragments: just enough for that.

What I don’t know yet: what the piece gains with each amplified level, what the later steps cost, and whether a failure costs anything beyond what was spent. I will check with the first piece that reaches +15.

Supply Requests

They open at level 25. They’re delivery requests: you hand in items you already have (gear, materials, consumables) and get paid in Abyss Points and, often, enhance stones. It’s the first way to collect Abyss Points without PvP, well before the Abyss opens at level 45.

You get there from the main menu, with Esc. There are four types:

Type What they ask for
Emergency Request Common gear, materials and consumables
Weekly Request Larger amounts, for a bigger reward
Regular: Crafting Request Crafted items
Regular: Boss Request Gear dropped by specific bosses
  • What you hand in is consumed. Before giving up a piece, check you don’t need it for something else.
  • Emergency and weekly requests can be filled with duplicate gear; crafting requests need some math, because the materials can be worth more than the reward.
  • According to a tip from the Korean forums, items that some request asks for show a question mark in the inventory. Worth checking before extracting old gear.

Daeva Bio-Research Base

It’s in the Daily Dungeon menu, under Unknown Fissure, and requires level 30. It’s a solo time attack: according to the guides, a minute and a half to kill as many test subjects as you can. The final score decides how many enhance stones you take home.

What I saw on the entry screen:

Item Value
Entries 14 per week, recharge on their own
Max reward 10,000 enhance stones, with 10,000 points or more
With 8,000 points 8,100 stones
With 6,500 points 7,200 stones
Starting boost You pick 1 effect out of 3 random ones

And what I got myself: the run really lasts 1 minute 30 seconds; with 4,530 points, 6,100 stones. With better gear it went up to about 6,400 per run. During the run it warns that “the danger level is rising” and stronger test subjects show up, which are the ones that score the most.

  • The special effects score the most: Slayer, +30% attack; Adrenaline, +30% combat speed; and Worm Carnage and Elite Hunter, which lower the toughness of normal or elite enemies. The common ones give defense, crit, movement speed or mana.
  • Entries don’t carry over from one week to the next: the counter shows 14 of 14 and the weekly recharge is 14.
  • There’s an Instant Clear Ticket that, once you’ve completed it once, lets you claim the reward without going back in. Each use also spends an entry.
  • The guides talk about 7 free entries per week and tickets to reach 30. In my client it’s 14 base; the extra recharge counter does show a max of 30.

It’s one of the most profitable things in the game per minute: enhance stones are the gear bottleneck.

Shugo Festival

Five-minute minigames that don’t depend on your gear. Just finishing gives Centuryroot Tokens and enhance stones; keys let you pick reward cards; and tokens buy Daevanion crystals and stigma shards. It’s all covered in the Shugo Festival note.

What resets every week

  • The 14 rewarded Transcendence runs.
  • The Abyss Points cap.
  • Each pass’s weekly experience.
  • Purchases in the Wind Breeze shop, which comes with membership.
  • Odyle Energy: don’t let it sit at the cap, because whatever doesn’t fit is lost.

Mistakes guides repeat

  1. Investing in leveling gear. Manastones are lost when you switch pieces; Soul Binding, according to one guide, is kept with Transfer. That said, the first Manastone engraving raises item level, so one is worth it on every new piece.
  2. Spending the orange Transfer Stones early.
  3. Spreading skill points evenly across many skills.
  4. Farming monsters instead of following the story.
  5. Skipping regional content and fortresses.
  6. Locking pet lines before getting every board to level 10.
  7. Spending Odyle Energy on exploration expeditions.
  8. Forgetting to equip the specialization after leveling a skill.

What I’ve seen and what I haven’t

Seen on my screen: Kina and Quna, which appear at the top of the shop. The rest of this page is from reading, and everything about level 45 even more so: I haven’t got there. I’ll move things to the notebook as I see them.
