Shugo Festival, the minigames, the keys and what they give

Updated
7 Oct 2026
Based on
Korean and English guides for the rules; keys, schedule, rewards and shop seen on my screen

This is one of my working notes, not a notebook entry. I have not verified it in the global client: it is what I follow while I play, taken from the sources below. What I confirm moves to the notebook.

What it is

Three- to five-minute minigames against other players where your gear and level don’t count: races, memory, hide-and-seek, platform jumping. They’re the light side of the game, and they still give Daevanion crystals and stigma shards, which are among the scarcest things while you level.

They don’t need a high level: according to guides they open early, and rewards come in nine brackets by character level, starting at 10.

If you’re in a hurry, the essentials

  1. Join whenever it’s convenient. Entry is free, and just finishing gives tokens and enhancement stones.
  2. The key is spent when you claim the reward, not when you enter. If you finished near the bottom, close the results without picking anything and you keep it.
  3. Don’t leave your keys at the cap. Keys that arrive with the counter full are lost.
  4. With tokens, Daevanion crystals first and then stigma shards. Cosmetics last.

The nine minigames

Minigame Length Players What it’s about
Jump Jump 2:55 1 to 4 Dodge lasers and collect balloons. Touching a laser costs points
Not This Tile? 3:15 1 to 6 Memory: remember the safe tiles over eight rounds
Hidden Lugi 3:30 2 to 9 Hide-and-seek: some players search while the others, in disguise, collect Odyle
Odyle Flight Frenzy 3:30 1 to 8 Fly through a canyon collecting Odyle drops through the rings
Goldrin’s Treasure 3:50 1 to 8 Find and open the chests marked by a beam of light
Wraith Evasion 5:00 1 to 6 Tag: if you get caught, you become a chaser
Mysterious Track 5:00 1 to 8 Mounted race with obstacles and boosts
Defend Shugo Merchants 5:00 1 to 8 Hold out against waves while protecting the merchants
Up! Up! Up! 5:00 1 to 8 Climb platforms. You only get a reward if you reach the first checkpoint

Each time slot features several of the nine, not all of them.

When it runs

On the hour. Guides talked about quarter past and quarter to, but on my screen the timeline goes by the hour, and at 22:02 the 22:00 round was active, with all nine minigames open at once. Next to the minimap, the Shugo icon shows up with the countdown.

What you get

Reward How
Centuryroot Tokens and enhancement stones Just for finishing
Reward cards One key per card. The better you place, the more cards you can pick

What I saw in Jump Jump’s reward list: the token card gives 30 half the time, 40 30% of the time, 60 17% and 100 3%, about 40 on average. And there’s a 20% chance of a Rare gear piece.

According to guides, the amounts go up with character level.

The keys

  • Three a day. That’s what my client shows, not the four from the Korean guides.
  • With the membership you can store up to 21. The box on the screen says so itself.
  • They’re deducted when you claim a reward and recharge on their own once a day. The count is per server.
  • They can’t be bought or farmed.

The festival shop

You pay with Centuryroot Tokens. These are the prices on my screen on 7 October 2026; I go through them in detail in the notebook entry.

Item Tokens Limit
Daevanion Crystal 50 10 per character
Stigma Shard 300 35 per character
Soul Crystal 50 30 a month
Empathy Candy 20 No limit in sight
Radiant Odyle 1,000 3 a month
Wings 2,100, 4,200 and 8,350 One of each
Wandering Merchant Lugi pet 3,600 One
Decorative paintings 2,000 each One of each
Appearances 530 to 5,400 One of each
  • It doesn’t sell Wisdom Stones or Soul Codex, which is what the guides listed as the priority buy. It does sell stigma shards.
  • The Daevanion crystal has a “Step 1/4” tag: the price seems to go up in steps. I haven’t checked it by buying.
  • One guide mentions a second, cheaper merchant that takes the same tokens. I haven’t found it.

Is it worth it?

Yes. A match takes five minutes, gives a reward even if you lose, and tokens buy Daevanion points and stigma shards, which you never have too many of while leveling. The only things to watch are not wasting keys on bad matches and not letting them fill up.

What I’ve seen and what I haven’t

Seen on my screen: the keys, the schedule, one minigame’s reward list and the whole shop.

Not checked: each minigame’s rules, which come from guides; whether rewards go up with level; and how the crystal price rises as you buy.
