About

A field notebook, not a database

What it is

odyle is an AION 2 notebook written in Spanish. Each entry records one concrete fact about the game and checks it against what the guides say. Almost everything known about AION 2 comes from Korea and Taiwan, which are a year ahead, and not all of it applies to the global client.

Who writes it

Gerlari, an Elyos Gladiator, playing on the global servers since launch day, 5 October 2026.

Where I play

On the Nezekan server in Europe, in Odylenet, this notebook's legion, which I run and which is multilingual.

How entries are verified

  • Verified means I have seen it in the game. The entry says when, in which zone and at what level.
  • Open question means the guides contradict each other and I have not seen it yet. It becomes verified once I do.
  • Changed means a patch made the entry obsolete. It is not deleted: it records what was true and until when.

Things I have only read, and that nobody disputes, are not published: other sites already cover them. My working notes, which are not verified, live in a separate section and say so on every page.

What I play on

A Steam Machine with Windows 11, an 8 GB graphics card and a 4K monitor. Entries under “Hardware” describe how the game runs on it.

What it is not

A fan site made for fun. No ads, no cookies, no tracking and no paid content. It does not link to Kina sellers or levelling services. It uses no NCSOFT artwork, logos or icons, and nothing is extracted from the game client. AION is a trademark of NCSOFT; odyle.net is not affiliated with NCSOFT.

Open source

The site's code is on GitHub under the MIT license. The texts are mine and may be reused with credit to odyle.net for non-commercial purposes (CC BY-NC 4.0). Game names and in-game texts belong to NCSOFT.

Languages

The site is written in Spanish and is being translated into English and Korean. Pages that are not translated yet are marked “In Spanish” and open the Spanish original.
