Amplify Stone (Unique)

What it’s for

When a gold piece (Unique grade) reaches +15, Enhance Stones are no longer enough: to keep going you have to amplify it, and every step uses these stones. According to metabot’s calculator, the extra levels depend on the piece’s item level: 1 at 54, 3 at 70 and 5 at 86. The first step takes 600,000 Kina and 6 stones and succeeds 66% of the time; later steps drop to 20%, and each failure raises the chance of the next attempt a little. The table is in the note on currencies and materials. Metabot counts 354 pieces that can be amplified.

Blue pieces can’t be amplified. In my game they stayed at +10 and went no further.

Where it comes from

According to metabot, only from Substance Morph, by combining fragments: according to wikily’s recipe table, 4 fragments and 2,500 Enhance Stones per stone. Since this unbound version is tradable, you can also buy it on the market.
