What people say
The game shows two numbers and lets you switch between them: item level, which is the sum of your gear, and combat power (CP), which mixes stats, upgrades, skills and Daevanion. According to the Korean press, CP doesn’t count temporary effects or anything PvP. Dungeon gates go by item level; player party rooms filter by CP (“60k 3b” = 60,000 CP and going for all 3 bosses).
What happens
| Date | Item level | CP |
|---|---|---|
| 9 October | 1,099 | 48,680 |
| 9 October | 1,187 | 51,520 |
| 10 October | 1,317 | 57,840 |
| 10 October | 1,385 | 58,620 |
| 11 October | 1,456 | 61,000 |
Up to 1,317 I was getting about 37–49 CP per item level point. From 1,317 to 1,385, only 11: I got through that stretch by engraving Manastones on pieces that didn’t have any and with Azphel crystals, whose nodes are HP, mana and PvP. After that, Soul Binding barely moved item level (1,455 → 1,456), but it did move CP, which went from 58,620 to 61,000 along with other upgrades.
What to do
- For dungeon gates, item level: crystals, engravings, new pieces.
- To get accepted into party rooms, combat power: the weapon, attack and crit nodes, skills and Soul Binding.
- At 48,000–50,000 CP I was getting turned away from 60k Krao Cave rooms. In the meantime, open your own room or use quick join.
