The 4 November patch, Ludra and an Abyss with equalised stats

Updated
7 Nov 2026
Based on
Patch notes, maintenance and hotfix notices and the “Ludra Awakens” event, published by NCSOFT on Steam

This is one of my working notes, not a notebook entry. I have not verified it in the global client: it is what I follow while I play, taken from the sources below. What I confirm moves to the notebook.

The maintenance

The one on Wednesday 4 November 2026 started at 07:30, Spanish time, with three hours planned. That same afternoon a small hotfix came out: Fire Temple and Ferocious Horn Den were showing a Hard option that does not exist. To get it, close the game and update from Steam or PURPLE.

Abyssal Forge: Ludra

It is the first Sanctuary content: Ludra, in Normal and Hard, with a one-hour limit per run. You go in with a Force, the large group.

Difficulty Minimum item level
Normal 2,800
Hard 3,000

NCSOFT warns that the minimum only lets you in and guarantees nothing: Hard is for the most advanced players and needs good knowledge of the fight and good coordination. Normal gives the same types of items as Hard, just with lower chances.

Rewards: Ludra’s Weapon and Ludra’s Guard, Ludra’s Bracelet, Abyssal Bracelet, the Sealed Abyssal Waves Wings and the Artwork: Abyssal Ludra, all Bound. The first Forces in each region to clear Hard go into the Hall of Fame.

The two new bracelets:

Bracelet Max Amplify How you get it
Abyssal Bracelet 3 Chance drop in Normal and Hard
Ludra’s Bracelet 5 With Gear Change Vouchers in Substance Morph

On each run you can pick a Gear Change Voucher as the guaranteed reward: Gear Change Voucher: Ludra in Normal, or Ludra (Hard) in Hard. In Substance Morph:

  • 6 Gear Change Voucher: Ludra → 1 Ludra’s Bracelet.
  • 3 Gear Change Voucher: Ludra (Hard) → 1 Ludra’s Bracelet.
  • 2 Normal ones → 1 Hard one.
  • A Gear Change Voucher can also be exchanged for an Abyssal Forge weapon selection chest.

Chaotic Outer Reshanta: the Abyss with everyone equal

A new Abyss zone where every character has the same stats, the same skill levels and the same Stigma levels. Only the bonuses from each class’s own skills and Stigmas count. The idea is that gear does not decide who wins.

  • Entry from level 45, with 3 hours per week, which Outer Entry Stones can extend.
  • It gives Kina (Bound), Abyss Points, Common, Rare and Epic gear, Outer Abyss Rift Stone and crafting materials.
  • Abyss Points from PvP are half of what the rest of the Abyss gives.
  • Some season missions can also be done there.

Siege and Abyss bosses

  • The Artifact Siege goes from three days to two: Thursday and Saturday, at 21:00 as before. To make up for it, the Abyss Corridor gives 50% more Abyss Points per run.
  • The three Artifact Bosses (Executor Kaira, Executor Argo and Executor Tamasa) also move to Thursday and Saturday, at 21:30.
  • Argo, the Spirit King spawns twice a day, at 10:30 and at 22:30.
  • In the field, Eternal Gartua and High Commander Lagta (Elyos), and their Asmodian counterparts, respawn every 11 hours instead of every 12.

Expeditions on Exploration: now worth it

Draupnir, Vakron Sky Island and Ferocious Horn Den on Exploration now give the same as Normal: more Kina, Enhance Stones, Silentium and Soul Codex, Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique), and Refining Stones and materials in the same amounts, though all Bound. Guaranteed rewards and the number of runs are matched to Conquest. It is meant for progressing when you cannot find a group.

Kina drops with the number of runs you have done:

Total runs Kina
0–40 100%
41–50 80%
51–60 60%
61–70 40%
71 or more 20%

Crafting without failing

There are new True Dragon and Star Dragon gear recipes that always succeed, but without COMBO (Great Success) and with Bound gear. They take Artisan to Epic gear as material, bound or not. The usual recipes stay: they can fail, but they can trigger COMBO and give gear you can sell.

Other improvements

  • Some pet souls that only came from chests now also drop in expeditions and Transcendence.
  • Item Source tells you which difficulty each item drops in.
  • In the colour palette (Customization, Closet and chat colour) you can type in the colour code.
  • The entries that did not reset on 25 October in Europe arrive. On 28 October NCSOFT only announced it; they are handed out with this patch.

Events

Event Until What you have to do
Odyle Energy Boost 11 November, before maintenance Log in every day: 4 Odyle Energy arrive in your mail, and they expire after 7 days
Ludra Conquest Check-In 18 November, 08:59 Log in on 7 of the 14 days
Ludra Hunt 25 November, before maintenance Kill Ludra on Normal or Hard

The Check-In rewards, day by day: 500,000 Kina, 2,000 Centuryroot Token, 3,000 Phantasmal Fragment, 30,000 Abyss Points, 3,000 Soul Crystals, 1,000,000 Kina and the Lush Leaf Tiara.

In Ludra Hunt, the first 20 Forces in each region to kill Ludra on Hard get an exclusive title: The First to Slay Ludra, Ludra’s Conqueror or Ludra’s Vanquisher. Anyone who kills it on Normal or Hard during the event gets Ludra’s Nemesis. Titles arrive before 3 December.

What it means for me

  • Ludra is very far off for me: Normal needs 2,800 and Gerlari was at a bit over 2,100 when I stopped.
  • Chaotic Outer Reshanta is for all my level 45 characters. With equalised stats, Sendalari goes in on the same terms as Gerlari. The downside: Abyss Points from PvP are halved.
  • The siege, only on Thursday and Saturday at 21:00.
  • Exploration is now worth it for progressing without a group: Draupnir and Vakron, and Ferocious Horn Den with Gerlari.
  • The Odyle Energy in the mail is lost for the days I did not log in. It runs until 11 November.
  • The Ludra Check-In can still be completed: logging in on 7 days before 18 November is enough.

What I have seen myself and what not

I have not logged in since the end of October, so I wrote this reading NCSOFT’s notices on Steam. I have not seen any of it in my client yet.
