What it’s for

It’s an item level 54 weapon for the Chanter. If you get it on another class, like I did on my Gladiator, don’t throw it away.

Seen in game: it works as Sync material in Soul Binding. I used it to change lines on my pieces, and every new line came out at the maximum value. It can’t be sold on the Market because it binds when you pick it up. The NPC pays 30,000 Kina.

When a piece reaches 100% Soul Binding, the next step is Soul Fuse, which requires Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation.

The Rupture Tome is the same weapon for the Sorcerer and works the same way.

Where it drops

According to metabot:

• From the boss Ultimate Berk in Krao Cave, at a very low rate (0.43%).
• From the Krao Cave weapon selection chest.
• From the boss of Abyssal Forge: Ludra (1.49%).

Enhancing it is safe up to +10. The step to +11 succeeds 65% of the time, and each failure raises the chance of the next attempt. It goes up to +15.
