A material used in Crafting.
What it’s for
It’s the material for low-level recipes: Orichalcum weapons in Blacksmithing (5 stones per weapon) and level 10 bracelets in Handicrafting (2 per bracelet). Metabot counts 40 recipes.
Seen in game: in the inventory it’s the grey orb. On 12 October I had 93 in storage without having looked for them.
Its big sister is the Expert’s Refining Stone, the green orb, which is worth much more.
Where it drops
According to metabot: the Hero bosses of the Lower Abyss always drop it. They are Watcher Kaira, Executor Argo and Guardian Lord Nahma, the same ones that give the Expert’s. It also drops in dungeons.
