Wings and flight power, where each one comes from

How it works

Each wing has two effects: one while you wear it and another just for owning it. The second one stacks across every wing you own, worn or not, and always includes flight power. The game’s own help says so: “Collect a variety of wings to increase Flight Power”.

The starting wings, the Lesser Daeva Wings, give 2,000 flight power just for owning them. According to metabot, that’s ten times what most of the others give. Some also add damage or defense, like the Brawler Wings in PvP or the Nightmare Wings against monsters.

With 25 different wings you get the title Dominator of Dimensions, which gives 4.5% PvE survivability when equipped and an extra 1% just for owning it.

If you’re in a hurry, the bare minimum

1. The story wings, free. Follow the main quest and they come on their own.
2. The three from the Shugo Festival, as soon as you have tokens to spare. After the Daevanion crystals, which come first.
3. Open every hidden cube you see. Two wings only come from there, at a low chance.
4. The expedition wings, little by little. Each one needs Featherdown from that expedition and Radiant Odyle, and Radiant Odyle is what runs out first.

In my client, on 7 October, the Shugo Festival shop had three wings at 2,100, 4,200 and 8,350 tokens. I didn’t write down the names; going by the price order, they’re most likely the Rare, the Epic and the Unique. One guide says the Violet Butterfly ones require finishing the quest “Visions in Smoke” first.

Expeditions and sealed dungeons, through Substance Morph

They’re crafted in Substance Morph with Featherdown from their content and Odyle. On the global client there are six Unique ones, at 50 Featherdown and 10 Radiant Odyle each: Black Fragment, Blue Wave, Ancient Aullaeu, Forest Spirit, Kromede and Dark Veil. The two Epic ones from the sealed dungeons, Sealing Wings and Glorious Wings, need 70 Featherdown and 10 Pure Odyle, and Featherdown drops two at a time per dungeon cleared.

The guides disagree here. metabot says that in normal expeditions the wing drops sealed and is unsealed with 10 Radiant Odyle, no Featherdown. games.gg gives the 50 Featherdown recipe. The Korean site Inven counts twelve expedition wings, more than on global.

Inven lists one more in the hidden cubes on the Korean server. I don’t know where Poko’s bundle comes from.

Special

Blazing Sun, Punk Bunny Bag, Void Rending and five others come from chests, from the Atelier, or from nowhere yet. games.gg doesn’t give stats for them, so I don’t know whether they add flight power.

Enhancing them

They go from +0 to +10 and take Kina and enhancement stones; Unique ones also take Sync Stone. Rare and Epic ones always succeed. Unique ones are safe up to +3; after that it’s 90% for +4, 80% for +5, 50% from +6 to +8, 40% for +9 and 30% for +10. Enhancing them also raises what they give just for owning them.

What I’d do

The five story wings come on their own. With Shugo Festival tokens, first the ten Daevanion crystals and then the three wings, which add flight power for good. Radiant Odyle is the bottleneck for expedition wings, and that same shop only sells 3 a month: save it for wings.

The Abyss, arena and Nightmare wings will come on their own when you do that content. The special and bundle ones, last or never.

Not verified: what flight power does exactly (whether it extends flight time or speed), how much each wing gives just for owning it, which expedition wings exist on global, and how the special ones are obtained.
